What prople say about us...
FAQ for Self Guided Hikes in the Dolomites
FAQ?
  • Yes – with the right planning, self-guided hiking in the Dolomites is not only safe, but incredibly rewarding. The trails are well-marked, the mountain huts are reliable, and you’re never too far from help if needed. Our routes are carefully chosen to match your fitness and experience, and we provide detailed maps, GPS tracks, and insider tips to keep you on track. You’ll have the freedom of independent hiking with the reassurance of local support if anything comes up.

  • We design our self-guided tours to make sure that doesn’t happen. You'll receive a complete digital navigation package with GPS tracks, detailed trail descriptions, and printed maps. Most trails in the Dolomites are clearly marked and well-traveled, and your daily itinerary is planned with care to avoid unnecessary risks.

While you hike independently and under your own responsibility, you’ll have all the tools you need to make safe and confident decisions along the way. Self-guided means freedom – and with solid preparation, it's one of the most rewarding ways to explore the mountains.

  • Absolutely. In most huts and towns along the trails, staff speak at least basic English, and communication is rarely a problem. We also give you a quick language guide with key phrases to make things even easier. The Dolomites are used to international hikers – and kindness and a smile go a long way here!

  • That’s exactly why a self-guided trip is perfect: we tailor the route to your pace, experience, and comfort level. Whether you want short daily hikes with comfortable huts, or a more challenging adventure, we’ll recommend the right itinerary for you. And remember: you can always shorten a stage, skip a day, or take a break in a scenic village. You’re in control.

  • Of course you can try – but planning a hut-to-hut hike in the Dolomites takes time, local knowledge, and often frustration. Many huts fill up quickly, websites are in Italian or German, and routes can be confusing without insider info. We do all the work for you: book the huts, provide the maps and support, and design a smooth, unforgettable experience. No guesswork, no stress – just pure hiking joy. #justhikeandenjoy

  • We’re based here in the Dolomites – this is our home, and we know the trails better than anyone. Our tours aren’t mass-produced: we craft each itinerary with local care, real experience, and attention to detail. When you book with us, you're not just buying a trip – you're hiking like a local, with expert support behind the scenes.
